VICKY V. KNORRING
MANAGER/ DIRECTOR /PRODUCER
Victoria von Knorring is a director/ producer with a background in architecture and design. Before graduating from Kingston University, London with BA (hons) in architecture, she studied sculpture and painting at L'Ecole Nationale Des Beaux-Arts in Paris. After finishing her work experience in the office of Shigeru Ban, Tokyo, she moved to New York to study filmmaking at the Tisch School of Art at New York University. Shortly after completing her studies, she landed in the world of music videos, directing her first clip for Ninja Sarasalo, the former Jean Paul Gaultier model. Directing is a playground that gives Victoria the freedom to use the full range of her creative talents. Music videos provide the opportunity to experiment with a kaleidoscopic range of styles and explore approaches that are based on reinvention and constant flux. As a director, Vicky is best described as someone who is always willing to 'shake genres'. As well as directing music videos for Universal, Sony BMG and HMC, Victoria has also directed commercials and short films.
DOMINIC KING
PRODUCER
Dominic King is a multi-platinium songwriter and producer who has sold over 40 million records for artists including Cher, The Degrees, Bette Midler and Chaka Khan, produced by luminaries such as Quincy Jones, Georgio Moroder and will.i.am, and his work has been sampled by Daft Punk, Madonna, Black Eyed Peas etc. His hit credits include My Simple Heart, Every Woman In The World, Modern Girl and Music Sounds Better With You. Dominic has also enjoyed remarkable succes writing for movies, with songs featured in films including the iconic Fame, Grease II, The Accidental Husband and Sandra Bullock's Heat, plus TV shows such as Miami Vice and Friends, major corporate ad campaigns, and events for the Prince of Wales and HM the Queen, He has been twice nominated for, as well as judging, the Ivor Novello Awards, expert lecturer and consultant for the BBC, The Songwriting Academy and PRS for music and member of the Songwriters' Executive Committee at BASCA. Dominic has a law degree from Trinity Hall Cambridge.
HOLLY WHINNEY
ASSISTANT PRODUCER
Holly is a graduate of Goldsmiths University of London with a BA Hons in Drama and Theatre complimenting a qualification in Documentary Filmmaking. She has experience in scriptwriting as well as pre and post production.
At Snoww, her role covers all aspects of documentary production with a particular focus on project management, business and financing activities.
Prior to Snoww, Holly held roles at the National Theatre, the London International Festival of Theatre and the British Phonographic Industry.
Holly is also an accomplished “dark comedy playwright” and won the London Student Playwright Award in 2019.
ALEXANDRA JAASKELAINEN
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Alex's background is in music/media law & music management studies. She is based in London and her broad remit includes artist liaison in the Snoww documentaries department. She's a positive and passionate individual and we are happy to have her on the team.
She adjusts well to different work environments and does not hesitate to take up new challenges in Business Innovation and Enterprise, Artist & Label management, Music Media & Marketing.
